Maintenance Technician

Location: Decatur, NE

We are looking for a full-time, skilled Maintenance Tech to perform the upkeep of tasks such as repairs on equipment. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to our equipment and building systems as well as ensure facilities are tidy and functional.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs to various equipment

• Checking control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues

• Maintain upkeep on company vehicles

• Collaborate with coworkers during repairs 

• Put machine parts together after accomplishing repair work

• Examine broken machine parts and identify defective parts or give recommendations to supervisors

• Disassemble machines and take off parts for replacement or repair using overhead cranes

Skills

• Ability to read technical manuals and drawings

• Experience using hand and electrical tools

• Attention to detail

• Mechanical and electrical skills

• Teamwork and communication skills

• Physical stamina and strength

• Associates Degree (Preferred)
