Planning
Our sales team and drafting department, here at Hardsteel, work with you creating the blueprints of your exact design, appropriating the exact dimensions you need for your custom building. Working diligently to get every detail by the customer's request. Once the prints are finished, manufacturing takes place, and then your delivery date is set. We will begin to ship the materials. If Hardsteel is erecting your building, erection will begin at the time of material delivery.
Manufacturing
Hardsteel is almost self sufficient. With the exception of ordering in raw material. All beam cutting, drilling, welding, and painting happens in house. The production of secondary framing such as zee purlins, cee girts, eave struts, and angle also takes place in house. And finally, we stock 26 gauge and 29 gauge coils in 14 colors to accommodate building projects as well as local contractors with the opportunity to have quality steel rolled out with quick turn around.
On the Jobsite
One of the first steps to building a Hardsteel building, much like any other structure is to put up the framework, which is done by the erection crew with excessive haste. In addition, the crew also installs the roofing materials. Finally, the skinning crew installs the wall panels and trim work, with the color(s) of your choosing, along with doors, windows and other accessories.
